A Tribute to Catalan Modernism

Inspired by the iconic mosaic owl sculpture that once adorned the now closed Souvenirs Art Gaudí store in Barcelona, this illustration offers a reinterpretation of the original symbol. I was commissioned to develop the owl figure as the focal point of the collection. Crafted with an artisanal approach, the piece emulates the trencadís technique through digital illustration. It was adapted to various media, including posters, textiles, packaging, and editorial elements, showcasing its versatility as both a visual identity and decorative artwork.

This piece pays tribute to the visual legacy of Catalan modernism through a contemporary lens.
